It was a relief to be able to book for two security guards a night for a large event. Mike was extremely fast in replying the questions and provided us with a very responsible and professional armed security guards. They were dressed professionally, checked the venue and all of the exit doors upon arrival and constant alert. It certainly gave us and the 150 guests an evening to enjoy. We will certainly hire them without hesitation.

Active Threat De-Escalation Training
Five Boro Protection has built a comprehensive training to meet the needs of small businesses, Facilities and building personnel.
This training outlines what an active threat/Active shooter is. How to react in a situation where an active threat is present and the steps you should take to maximize your chances of survival. Five Boro Protection training goes by the guidelines set forth by the FBI for active threat/active shooter situations.
During this training we will go through de -escalation techniques which have been proven to work in high stress situations. We ’ll also go over some scenarios with the participants to help them further understand their options while in these situations.
This training is interactive, we want the participants to correspond with our training personnel so we can understand issues they may have experienced and dissect how we can help them moving forward.
With two of our three packages we offer a comprehensive inspection of the building/facility we will be training in. This inspection usually takes 1 -2 hours and will be followed up with a report of all suggestions we feel will make your facility safer. Our trainings usually run 1.5 -2 hours depending on attendee participation. We believe small groups of 15 or less are most effective in reaching our audience.
Training Packages
This package will consist of a comprehensive training with a PowerPoint presentation, outlining your best options for survival in an active threat/active shooter situation. We will also go over De-escalation techniques and scenarios that the class is encouraged to participate in.

Package two consists of the comprehensive training we offer in package one. In addition to the comprehensive training we offer a security inspection of your facility. The inspection will include a full walkthrough of your facility usually with a facility manager to totally understand the needs and security risks you may have. This inspection will include a full report of our findings with any suggestions we may have to make your facility safer.
